Hi Panjno, A couple of us have had problems loading up the game ("Game needs to update, please restart origin..."). I narrowed it to command line parameters and @Mixu worked out using task manager to end the process. Another thing I have noticed is the settings menu seems to go back to default settings (maybe like COD blackout4?) If I change the settings in video in game back to what is recommended i lose 5-10% fps. Should we set and then not go back into that menu? Thanks again for all your work, this is the first time in half a dozen games that I have had any issues with your optimisations. I understand you are busy but just wanted to let you know this is happening to some users. Cheers edit: looks like the cpu priority is the REAL culprit

Thanks so much for this video. i just tried this yesterday since I bought a 144hz monitor to run with a 1050ti. The game was flickering a bit and I got worried so I decided to tweak it. Your fps boost helped. I get 60-100fps now and it never drops below that. I changed the settings a bit and left the nVidia ones to default, and I slightly overclocked the gpu, it worked like a charm. Btw, for those who cannot change their in-game settings back, just use the videoconfig file in folder 'Customizable settings', it makes the setting changeable again.

In the advanced launch option in origin and there should be something called -cl_showfps 1 what you can do is remove that or change it to -cl_showfps 4 with is a smaller and better fps counter

It also messes with your mouse sensitivity in the fact that it seems to change during gameplay(not like mouse acceleration).

The video is very easy to understand, and there should be an option in video settings in game about "FPS max". It will say 144, and you can change it to unlimited. IT IS ONLY 144 BECAUSE THE SETTINGS FILE YOU DOWNLOADED AND INSERTED HAS IT CAPPED AT 144 ALREADY. If you make the FPS unlimited though, your computer will heat up faster i think.

Hey, you don't need to uninstall the game to move it. There is an option within Origin to pass it to your SSD or NVME. Takes like a couple of minutes. Hope this helps!

2 questions: Doesn't setting your pc to the Ultimate power plan cause your cpu/gpu to run at max at all times, ultimately reducing the lifespan ofn your system? Is quickCPU, made by coderbag, the same thing as core parking manager (the program used in the video)? I ask because I installed the coreparkingmanager and it recommended I download the newest version (quickCPU).

it very likely is just a nicer version but keep the old one unless it says to get new one in the video, theyre basically same. also ultimate power plan probably doesn't do that lol, but its not a ton different from high performance powerplan. If you get the ultimate performance power plan, select it and go back into the power option box when youre done and select the balanced one afterwards so ultimate power plan isn't always running.
