Muje detective serials aur purane cities dekhne ka shauk hai is liye muje Byomkesh bakshi and Sherlock Holmes hammesha achchha lagta hai. no fancy sets, no computer generated graphics,no overloaded faces,no jarring music or background score,no superficial acting,no dead face actors and actress...just pure natural talent,less focus on make up and shiny westernised costumes and sets and top notch acting by every artist and good screenplay and story with a commitment towards giving some morals alongside entertainment ! that which is missing nowadays in name of reality and people's choice and demand. very disappointing time were these last two to one and half decade of cable channels. quality and purpose( foremost acting) in each aspect of cinema(which matters...i am not talking about technical advancement) and tv has deteriorated and gone down to gutter.

Seems like Raj Kumar Hirani inspired by the story, character of phatichar created film PK. Aamir Khan's acting in the film PK is similar to Pankaj Kapoor's acting in this serial. Aamir Khan's role in comedy film Andaz apna apna is similar n inspired by Farooque shah's character Vasudev Bhatt/Bashu Bhatt in film Katha. So basically Aamir khan acts inspired by old film characters. Cool. No wonder old is gold

it's not a poor execution in any way, in fact it's way ahead of its time. You have to consider that we didn't have hi-fi technology then, so the shows and movies were dependent on acting, story, dialogue, etc. And when looking through that matter, this show is absolutely exceptional.

I can't thank you enough for uploading this fabulous serial. I was a student and somehow managed time to watch few episodes in our hostel TV set... But it kept haunting me till date. My humble suggestion is to remaster it & market it on DVD. But Sir, was the source quality really this poor? Can't believe it is Umatic. Looks like VHS.

I am amazed that how come a literate and educated person not know that the quality of non-digital recording deteriorates with time. It is impossible to know the quality of source material of non-digital recordings as they deteriorate with each playing and with time. What you see the quality of the recording at the particular time at which it was digitized. I hope that you don't believe that old video and audio recordings we see on youtube reflect how they looked or sounded like when they were recorded.
