I don't care what anyone else says, this is my favorite Mario Kart Game. It may look like Plastic, the bikes may be overpowered, but the music, the tracks... and perhaps my favorite part of the game, in order to unlock everything, you can't JUST race on Grand Prix. You also have to play in time trials, see every course, beat the ghosts. It really makes the game feel like a more complete experience than 8

Exactly. It's the content, and the variety of it. Each vehicle has 10 different palette swaps. Each character has 3 voice clips for every action. They also have 3 tricks for karts and even more tricks for bikes. This is why MKWii is my favorite.

+spindash64 Mario Kart Wii is my second-favorite Mario Kart. I actually really like the art style, and unlocking the characters is much better than in Mario Kart 8, which is my favorite. Something I also really like about Wii is that all of the characters sound like they're really having the time of their lives (seriously, listen to Funky Kong).

Fletcher Reed Funky Kong was too loud. His voice just annoyed the crap out of me, so I never used him. You can easily imagine how glad I was it got toned down a LOT in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

I've been very pleased with this fifth batch. Out of them all, this one is probably my favorite. Most likely due to the nostalgia it induces. You're a fantastic musician, and I know it may be cliché at this point, but your music belongs in the next iteration of Mario Kart. 90% of my modded Mario Kart 8 tracks have your music replacing the original versions, and each time I play them it is always a sublime experience. You've made it on my list of prodigious people, keep up the great work my friend! :)
