Panning and sniping for gold with the Vogus Prospecting Outlaw Gang!!

The last leg of my mainland adventures prospecting for gold. I join up with Chris from Vogus Prospecting, Gadzee (the buckshot prospector) and Mick. We spend half a day panning and sniping gold on a Victorian creek.

Really enjoyed seeing my two favorite channels work together. Chris covers and advises many different aspects to finding and recovering gold. His channel is shovel to pan or might be hard rock crushing you never know what you’ll see. Your channel is something more. You are primarily a sniper but your videos are beautiful adventures into those remote areas. Narrative is spot on and your voice tone is soothing, you never over do it. Chris is very educational with a bit of quirky humor, love it Chris keep it coming but your videos are absolute day dream worthy adventures you wish you could be on. Enjoyed the whole series Levi well done.

With all the gold related channels it's hard to know who's worth prime watching time. But since you have the Vogus seal of approval, you've earned my subscription as Dan Hurd always says. LoL. I always ask myself, "Where could the gold be shedding from?" There was quartz associated with the larger piece you found which is a great indicator. Water is slightly acidic which causes erosion in certain minerals like calcite and quartzite. The fact that you found quartz still on the specimen could indicate that you're close to where that gold is shedding from. If you find a vein while sniping, try following it up onto land if the vein goes in that direction. That can explain why there's sudden cut offs of locating gold in streams and rivers because the source vein is running horizontal and not vertical or parallel to the water system. The horizontal veins in relation to the flow of said river or stream would likely carry on into the banks and hills.
