13:12 Always delighted to see a K Mart Christmas ad. They were THE place to shop and save for the holidays. Sadly less than 3 of them still open as of 2022.

The Atlantic recently did a story on the once-iconic chain, including a story about how purchasing an Atari VCS was a rite of passage for so many youngsters at a time that the term "general merchandiser" was the preferred term over "big box".

I can't believe I still remember all of these commercial jingles after 45 years 😲. I had a friend who moved from Starret City to N. Bellmore L.I., where I lived. I remember thinking she was so "cool" because where she used to live was featured on a TV commercial. Kids🤭😅🤣

You forgot to add a commercial that it was called Chuck E.'s TV Spot Pizza Time Birthday, it's an animated 30-second commercial for birthday parties.

I like 4 years old but I remember my parents and grandparents wondering the same thing. Then they were all shocked when it was some girl named kristan. I might be spelling it wrong. All i know is I believe she is bing crosbys daughter in real life. Please don't yell if i am wrong but this is what i recall.

@@ericasklar4584You are correct, it's Kristin, I think, it's amazing you could remember from age 4, but it was a huge deal at the time!! I was 19, it happened not quite a year after these commercials...

I'm looking for the 17 note CBS affiliate Christmas ID, used from I believe 1979-1981. It featured the station number inside a wreath. Do you have that one?

I'm blown away by the number of camera commercials, just before Christmas, as if to say "Precious family memories are LOST FOREVER IF YOU DON'T BUY OUR PRODUCT!!!!"

There were no phones with digital cameras. Cameras and film were a big deal.

They didn’t have phones back then.
@Own.lee.who.men.5166 ай бұрын
@@zekeonstormpeak4186There were phones (rotary and touch tone) but cell phones the way they are contructed and available to everyone now did not exist. From what I understand, the only people who had access to them were wealthy people who had them in their cars.
