I have been hearing about this band for the past couple of years now and being a resident of rural eastern Kentucky I decided to finally give this a listen . I am glad that I did . I feel like they capture the anguish and raw beauty of our home on level that many of us feel . I wish I would have had this band growing up here in the 80s and early 90s .

A lot of agricultural states harbor a lot of disdain for the federal government by unfair taxes and regulations placed on independent farmers which benefit corporations. Also the often unnecessary and excessive destruction of wilderness sanctioned by the fed. So not suprising to me that a black metal band from a state like Kentucky would incorporate those kind of lyrical themes. \m/
