I heard that recently Graskop has had problems with the Zama Zama miners hassling locals. Did that pose a problem for you guys? Do you have any advice on safety?

Where do we stay. Start from Johannesburg. End it there as well, as we fly to cape town. Or would u suggest another route

We did all the stops in about 2-3 days. You can't fit all of them into 1 day. But 2 days is a good amount of time!
