Anyone at the Dallas show in 2000 at the Fair Park Coliseum with Pantera, Slayer and Morbid Angel? What I remember were fans began to ripping the floor up and set them on fire while surfing on them and the moshing was intense. The good ol days.

Phils voice sounded hoarse at that show. I was at one of the shows in Jersey two weeks ago and he sounded strong, the whole band was on point. Looks like you had good tickets and a good time. Keep rockin'and thank you for sharing that video.

Well how did you like it? It was the first time my son went to see PANTERA. He took his son that is 8 years old. My son was raised on PANTERA Because back in the day. Every time PANTERA would play in Dallas I was there. It is good that they did this PANTERA tribute so the younger generation can see them. But with out Dime and Vinny the hart and magic is gone forever.
@DJ_Ortiz Жыл бұрын
@@RodneyBean-13 I loved it. And yeah, it won't be the same without those Dimebag and Vinnie. Dimebag died before I was born, and Vinnie died when I was 12. But hey, it's nice seeing Pantera having new members as a tribute.

I hate "the round" shows. Pay insane amounts of money for tickets just for the band having their backs to you for 2/3's of the show.
@Polentaccio Жыл бұрын
Agreed. This new concept spreads bands out all over the stage and it looks empty up there. Give me the old school wall of Randalls any day.

@@Polentaccio Not so new. I saw Def Leppard in 1987 "In the Round". The show was so bad we left early. The whole show felt like you were behind the stage not backstage.

This arrangement allows the band(s) to sell more seats since you can now sell seats that would have been behind a more conventional stage

Not the same. If Phil would have stayed with the band instead of disappearing and doing all his side projects, the Abbott brothers would have still been doing Pantera and Dime would have never been playing at a club where he would be murdered. Not blaming Phil for what happened, just think it’s crappy to be profiting off the band name that he destroyed. The brothers Abbot were the heart of the band, and Phil crapped all over them.
@peterlois1086 Жыл бұрын
enough man, we all know the story. why is it so hard to just enjoy the music??? why do you and so many others feel like its your duty to bash this and 2 of the guys that wrote these songs??? Your comments are so over done and just boring now. this tour is going to continue and if you dont like it, than dont listen its that simple. instead of complaining you should be remembering what it was like back in the day, there are a lot of people that are going to these shows and being transported back to when they were teens or young adults. THATS what this is about. And why the hell should you care if they are profiting from this?? how does that effect your life? Dont forget, Phil reached out to the Abbott family before this got going for their blessing, AND THE FAMILY GAVE THEIR BLESSING!!! If it was such a slap to the face of Dime and Vince I guarantee Rita and Mr. Abbott would've shot it down.
