Regarding the questions: 1: I absolutely LOVE this axe 2: yes 3: I mean I really dug them, I just have EMG's in most of my guitars so they fit better for what I need em. Also those were more rockish in some sense but I toured with them in Satyricon and absolutely loved the stock ones, too. Also the split coil single coil sound is the best of such I've heard ever.... 4: well I would say absolutely, the neck is pretty straight and also toured around the world with it and never had any issues with it. regarding mm's I got NO idea where mine's are... Cheerz

Does the first note of main riff is open palm muted E string or palm muted E5 power chord?

Everythin is on open strings/1 string except for the first 2 A power chords - 2x when He first changes strings, and then after playing the 1st fret on the A string the next A is an open A string. ;)

Thanks my Friend! Honestly I really dug the original pickups as well, but live - especially using in ear - I needed the EMGz. I'm just so used to them I feel much more comfortable with them, there's something with the midrange that I lack from almost everything I've been trying out. On the other hand that stock pu set had the best split coiled sound to my ears/taste. In "normal" humbucker mode they sounded more rock than metal to me, which is cool if that;s what You're looking for, but they were feedbacking a bit with my setup. Hope I could help You my Friend!
