I have a question at 1:30 when you start playing the outro why do you lift you fingers when you could just hold the hand shape and slide it around the fretboard I'm just asking out of curiosity because I learned this 2 days ago and that just stood out

Hi mate, thanks u for your question! When I start playing the outro, I exaggeratedly lift my fingers( u don't have to lift your fingers too much) I do this to make the sound clearer (I remove the harmony from the remaining strings) with my index finger too muting the strings, and don't forget about muting the strings with your right hand.
