Ever since 8/12 we've been coming tohether for celebrating the greatest metal guitarist of all time, the late Dimebag Darrell of PanterA/Damageplan/Rebel Meets Rebel. For this 10th anniversary Hungarian Ride For Dime, we wanted to capture the live vibe of these great events, so we decided to record the whole Vulgar Display Of Cover PanterA tribute show - audio/video-, as well as the rest of the bands and friends that came and rocked hard with us. We hope that all the love and passion we have for Dime - and all the bands he was involved with - comes through these recordings.
Thank You for all the inspiration and impact You have on us, and all the Hungarian underground metal fans and community!

That groove is such that you have to hit the cymbal with your right hand. Vinnie has another hihat on his right side, this drummer has not. Hihats are expensive... 🙂 That is a small detail that you correctly pointed out, but it is what it is. Its fine with china. Overall performance is outstanding !!!

Yeah I noticed that too. Gives it a totally different and better feel when you play it on the hi hat. It makes the groove sound tighter.

@@Dadoimp yea it's called an auxiliary hi hat when drummers use 2 or more hi hats like Vinnie did on his drum set. His main hi hat to his left and auxiliary mounted to his right.. but you can achieve the same groove on your main hi hat too. I do it all the time when I play this song on my drum set. I just hit my main hi hat with my left hand instead of hitting the auxiliary hi hat w my right hand like how you stated Vinnie always did. Good video of Vinnie playing and you can see him utilizing the auxiliary hi hat while playing back and forth between it and the China cymbal. He was awesome kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGqpdWuVoLeJe8U

Anselmo recently came to Mexico and pfff neither the shadow of PANTERA nor him nor his musicians, a real shame for those of us who are fans of PANTERA, you very well even though it is long time ago your videos congratulations and thanks for taking away that bad taste from the mouth that let me see anselmo trying to emulate that glorious panthera era which sadly remained only in the memory of some of us who had the fortune to live it. 🤘

I was born in the late 70s. Grew up with Pantera as one of my favorite bands for many, many years and still listen to some of their song weekly. To be honest, this is the quality I wish that they'd kept on their live gigs...This is amazing!

It's funny how this guy's trying to imitate Phil's belligerent sloppy vocal style when realistically phil was heavily under the influence and is the reason why he sounded like that towards the end of Pantera.. he got so bad that even the Abbott brothers were complaining about his vocal delivery and antics when it came to him screaming and making death metal noises rather than singing like he used too.
