Thats a great take from Judson, Ive listened to Walk hundreds of times and always saw it from Richard's perspective, as them demanding respect, but I think it makes a lot of sense the way you put it, the other lyrics really kind of reinforce the idea of him saying "respect to you but go away"

Vulgar Display was the first Pantera album I bought and it came out about the same time I first heard them. When I went to the store to buy it, there was a song playing and I thought, “this must be Pantera.” It was “This Love”, I never heard it before, but I still recognized it for what it was. They were definitely unique.

I saw Pantera up in Springfield, Mas on April 26,th 1992 for their Vulgar Display of Power album, Skid Row opened for them with their Slave to the Grind album. We got stoned and had a great time. I picked up a Dimebag pick. All I can say is that going to a Pantera show is a life changing event. They put on a show like no other. You were part of the show and they made everybody feel welcome. Dimebag playing live man.......... He was better live than in the studio and you could bet on that. There are a ton of videos on KZbin that show his character. He wanted every guitarist out there to be able to play his songs and would show people everything he did. He would have given you the shirt off his back. If only his life wasn't ended so short. I cried when he was killed. He is the best metal guitarist ever, period as far as I am concerned. His playing was electrifying.

I love it when Judson aligns rock with classical music. I believe everyone, metalheads like myself included, would also enjoy classical music recommendations and Richard's open, sincere comments. One thing to possibly consider in the future might be getting more info about the band members themselves talking about the song in question and possibly what it means to them, instead of listing off the numbers it did. It might make a bigger impression and deepen the conversation after the song, since the perspective might differ for you two.

Pantera is known for one of greatest bands of all time for metal music. For me and for most people that play guitar, Dime (The guitarist) is the best of all time, and for some he isnt, but he 100% changed the way you play. He was so unique, technique, sound, vibrato, legato EVERYTHING man. He came to rock and rocked like no other. You should do more Pantera like Hollow , Floods, This love... if you didn't. There you can really feal the lyrics and GUITAR aswell. Great reaction btw keep on reacting 👏

Walk by PAnter is a great song. There's nothing to review here, it's just one ripping riff whole song, no real music. It has became so popular because it is so simple that everyone digs it. regardless of genre they like (and btw Pantera i HC not "groove"). And that solo is great, but certainly not one in top anything, because it's totally out of place. In those days, US bands followed routine that had to have some solo in middle of song, and trust me, fans of Pantera don't remember that solo bc song wasn't about music at all - it was like break to go get a beer..
