Just an fyi, if tested the Supersonic today with the TKPs. I didn’t love it. Mostly I don’t like pushing the axles so far away for a board that wasn’t designed for it. I will need to do more testing with angles but +5 front and flat back didn’t do it for me, and if I’m guessing, it wasn’t the angles that I was struggling with. I just think the trucks don’t have quite enough rake to compete with a Bennett here. They were great for medium speed, lacked high speed range, and didn’t do low speed very well either. They did feel really great for pushing and it was nice having them loose and lively!

PS: do you know where I can buy just on Stylus? Seems everyone only sells them by the pair. I was thinking of using a Paris V3 150mm 50dg front and a Paris Street or the Stylus TKP rear with the Loaded Zee brackets and DIY/cut-down deck. Do you think this might work for decent pumping? I prefer S-turn pumping for the fun and workout versus "LDP wiggling" for distance. Thanks!

@@PantheonLongboards Rio Brazil, which is also related as they have *absurd* import taxes of 60% or more here! Prices are usually 2X the normal price here. I bought the Zee brackets at "GS Longboards" here in Brazil and had a friend bring me a set of Karmas. ;-)

Informative. I have an old Ember in storage that I may re-deploy with these trucks. I never liked the Paris trucks because of the slop in the pivot (which Jeff says is addressed in the Stylus).

Exciting news. I wonder if Pantheon will begin offering them as default on some of the models.

The first time I watched this is missed this part that's very interesting to my building a Zee Bracket board... "I'd like to try wedge/dewedge them...I've been told they're (really good) but you need to soften up the front and stiffen up the back... we'll have to figure out a solution for that." wish I could find people's comments on this, what they did/used and results.

I also would like to know this about the Stylus with the Loaded Zee brackets. I'm thinking of experimenting with using a TKP truck for just the rear truck for LDP/pumping instead of a RKP... so perhaps the paris Street truck or the Pantheon Stylus.

looks like maybe it can fit/work with the Zee brackets?

@@PantheonLongboards FYI, per my other post. It's tough to build a good board on a budget here in Brazil. Very price sensitive market due to BIG import taxes and vendor markups. Personally I think DIY'ing a bracket board could be a good way to go with these cheap Loaded Zee's. Just need to experiment with trucks and what wedging is possible with the Zee's. Btw love the Karmas on my "Frankenboard" my first DIY pumping setup. Grip is pretty good on ocean front painted asphalt bike path once they broke in - the warm asphalt prob helps :)
@bbaker62127 ай бұрын
@@skate-horizons thanks. Top mounted wont' work with the Zee brackets for the same reason as the Paris V3's? I bet one could just cut a tiny tip off the back corners at 45-degrees (or round them off using a grinder) so the holes would line up. I mean if you really needed to :)

What is the pivot cup modeled after? Paris tkp or Indy?

It's a Paris RKP geometry. I took a common, easily sourced pivot and designed the truck around it.
