You can tell me what you want but Poros are actually the most versatile and powerful creatures in Runeterra. They adapt to every environment, can learn to use weapons and EVERYONE falls in love with them. I mean, they could sneak up on you with a dagger and stab you in the back and people would still go: "uargh... cute and deadly... what... wonderful creatures..." Poros posess a kind of magic far more powerful and ancient than any other race (Yordles included) and when the Watchers return we need that kind of magic to calm them down.

Well, to be fair unless it was reworked poro have a passive magic that make them invulnerable. They're so cute that no one want to kill them, and they can't be in collateral damage (like an arrows rain during a battle) by sheer fate, so yeah, no one can dislike a poro it's canon
