On a wet October day in 2020 we hiked to Panther Creek Falls in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. Located in the Cohutta Wilderness Area this 8 mile out-and-back trail can be muddy and overgrown after heavy rains but provides some spectacular streams and a very nice waterfall 4 miles in. We managed to see some picturesque fall colors and enjoyed a nice but challenging walk in the woods.
