Like the Tiger E and H the turret is incredibly vulnerable to large caliber HE shells. I easily one shot them with my T30 and M109s.

The answer is yes. Yes, you should play this beautiful tank. Dog on them germains. Also, you should definitely play it in Sim, it makes you REALLY cool!!!

France 6.0/5.7 is extremely strong, it's really not necessary to have this in the lineup, but it's not terrible. Of course the purpose of French tanks at this BR is to bring out the most powerful CAS aircraft at 6.0: the F4U-7 with absurd amounts of rockets, bombs, and cannons. Your tank line up at this BR has a lot of oddball tanks, the Jumbo, the EBR 1951, the M36B2 - the Panther is somewhere inbetween all of these and helps round out different play styles. Though I think the real strength of France at this BR is speed: AMX-10P, the Lorraine, the EBR - and when one of those vehicles gets destroyed you're probably going to spawn CAS, if not you've got the choice of armor (Sherman Jumbo) or firepower (M36B). If you're the type of person who like the Sherman M4A4 (SA50) but want to replace it with something more capable at 6.0, this is your best option.

Honestly APCR is so bad that its not worth taking, Increased risk of ammo detonation + time required to focus on an enemy to get any use out of it is just stupid. Just flank or retreat.

I hardly tank, I've barely unlocked the Panther in the German tech tree, but God Damn I bought the Dauphine coz I just love the idea of a French Panther. & let it sit in the hanger. Or; traumatized by my experience in low tier French, I grasped blindly for a remedy.

Buy the 2C Bis for France. Br 1.7, big HE shell, and you can play as artillery. 12 crew members. When I play in arcade, I don’t need my brain. Over 700 poor souls taken in my no brain mode.

The lack of lineup is what kills it for me. What u supposed to take with it? Lorraine: poor armor, only solid-shot with slow reload ELC: no survivability, post-pen dmg "not exists" Jumbo: on 6.0? PLS torture someone else! Jackson: OK gun, but I despise and avoid every open-top vehicle since overpressure been added (+i refuse to play the ex 5.7 tanks that got refed to 6.0 for no reason)
