Pretty much. Lunastra was just a weaker Teostra in Freedom Unite. I prefer them actually being different from each other like how they are in World personally.

The first time I fought Luna and Teo I was using the dragon gunlance from the dark pieces stuff. It may be a cheesy strat but it gets the job done without ever worrying about dying. I'd recommend bringing dash juices tho.

Teostra is, in my opinion, the most challenging monster in FU. Yes even harder than rajang as there's really no way to cheese him. Even with the weapon i'm mostly familiar with, the fight could go south anytime just by a single misstep. Not to mention whenever I'm fighting him in the volcano, he usually just stands in the lava patch shooting flame breath/ blast powders.

Yeah, that's totally fair, a lot of times you gotta try and play super safely, unfortunately sometimes that means the game forces you to be passive, but sometimes it's a nice back and forth.

😄😄 Yeah, a big reason why I'm making these is because I felt the same way lol, when I was first starting out I would look around on tips to beat even monsters like Kut-ku, but ones like Khezu and Kirin, tips for Kushala, etc and there just... weren't too many. Even the ones I'm making are imperfect, I can't really go into depth on every single weapon for example >.< specifically because I'm not very good with every weapon, but eh lol I do what I can 😅😅

Thanks mate this is helpfull. I became unconcious quite few times from volcano to desert quest but I manage to kill it in the end. Because of my fighting exp with the Kushala (which I also watch your vid) as must as possible I target its head to deactivate that fire aura.

I know this is old, but i think there is an auditory difference in the weird jingles when teo is doing the long range explosions vs the short range one. I find the short range one pretty distinctive.

I don't think I mentioned it, but they'll also flap their wings at different speeds, I think. I go off of color, but the wing speed could be helpful too, I never noticed a sound difference, but I never really payed attention to it, sometimes it's hard to notice something if you're not looking for it 😅

Yeah I believe there's the color of the particles, and some people have said the speed of his wing flaps. I've always gone by the color so I can't say off the top of my head which speed of wing flap means what >.

I don't know the exact rules for the elder dragon fights when it comes to repelling them, but I DO know that for the G-rank Fatalis, even if you repel them with like 7 hp left, there's a minimum amount they'll have when you begin a follow-up hunt. I believe the number is 5,000 life for those buggers, but for the low-rank monsters, I can only imagine the HP floor is 500-1000.

I find it favorable to actually repel on purpose, as it gives more materials imo (repel reward/slay reward). But its a bit risky to always repel since second fight might not appear 👍

I really use any weapon, but my favorites: SnS: I use the Nana Variant, so u can blow his ass with bombs any Time you sleep him. Gunlace: the Plesioth Variant or the Dragon Variant. U can camp in front of him and knock him out very easy. Of course u better use Mega juice. LBG: Azure/Pink LBG, rapid Fire with 2 kind of boolets. Of course u sleep the baztrd and blow his azz and then u fight in distance. Bow: Halo Dragon. Same, sleep the red Lunastra and blow his butt a couple of times. Then fight in distance with Megajuices and power coatings. ❤️👌

I think so, yeah, except maybe Fatalis? Don't remember seeing them in the reward box there. Could be wrong. Kirin could be the fastest if you need them, I think they have the lowest health.

Yeah as Champorado said, I had the defender skill from the kitchen. It was pretty convenient, and it works just like Divine Blessing, which is actually a pretty darn good skill, it reduces the damage of some attacks. It'll trigger more often than you might think, I think it's a 25% chance.

is striped striker ok to use? I mean it's the most powerful and sharpest hammer you can get on this stage of the game I want to know your opinion

Well, firstly, the Finishing Hammer is stronger than Striped Striker, even considering the blue sharpness. Secondly, the extra dragon damage over the Finishing Hammer makes it deal more as well as dealing dragon element, so you can actually break Teostra's horns. Finishing Hammer would deal ~44 damage to Teo's head. Striped Striker would deal on average ~40 to Teo's head (~44 if you don't negative crit) Dragonbreaker deals ~48 to Teo's head. tl;dr You can use the Striped Striker if you want. It's fine.

@@HeadHunter455 But to make it you need Diablos Mauler that requires 2 elder dragon bones. I defeated only one kushala daora and got only 1 bone so far. I'm not going to repeat it, it was my worst monster yet.

@@HunDev_PL this was a year ago but i would like to help anyways. Maybe theres someone out there like u rn. If theres one armor i reccomend to fight kushala its the diablos armor set D. It got windpress which at max with paperweight jewels it negates the effect of his aura and its fairly easy to farm. An alternative its Kirin. Its the elder dragon with the least amount of health and imo its a piece of cake, specially if u go with bowgun.
