I love the Selection of Horn for the Panthers Him, D Jackson, Bouye, Chinn has the makings of a very good Secondary which you really need in Today’s Pass Happy NFL

Have you seen our secondary lately? QBs were having a field day on us. Our pick for OT went to the Lions. Justin Fields would've needed 2 or 3 yrs to develop and that's if he even stayed healthy. Meanwhile our secondary would've still been trash. Jaycee Horn makes us better INSTANTLY. We already invested in Sam Darnold so it wouldn't make sense to draft Fields too. We needed a top CB desperately bad. And now we got the best one in the entire draft!! We made the right decision guys. We are at our best when our defense is good. We went to 2 superbowls and both times our defense was top notch. Tampa Bay just won a Superbowl because of their defense. With this pick we are BACK!!! We are one or two offensive linemen away from being one of the top teams in the NFL right now.

You're right, many execs I've read ranked Darnold ahead of Fields if they entered the draft together (fields is 22, Darnold 23) and Horn instantly makes the other NFC South teams jobs harder. He shit Pitts down! And he continues Rhule's team building in terms of having athletic freaks with attitude!

I think Sam Darnold would've been drafted ahead of Mac Jones and Justin Fields had he been in this draft. I wasn't that high on most of the QB's in this draft. Lawrence is really the only sure bet. Then you're just taking a chance on someone, just like we're doing with Darnold, but he's got some NFL experience on his resume. I love the pick honestly. I was thinking Surtain II, because I hadn't watched a lot of film on Horn. So obviously the first thing I did was some homework on Horn, and he's a straight up BALLER. He's got some tendencies to get a little handsy down the field, so Rhule will have to try and coach that out of him. But man, he's gonna be solid in that secondary with Jeremy Chinn, AJ Bouye and Donte Jackson. I'd like to see us get another safety in round 3 or 4, but round 2 has to be a lineman. Interior or outside, doesn't matter to me.

I think it was a solid pick. Our CB room was no where near where it needed to be. The league is going to a throwing 1st plan. And we got some good WRs in the NFC south. We needed a shut down corner and he is a hometown kid. Went to my Gamecocks in college and stays in the Carolinas. Now we need OT help and a legit safety or back up RB for 22

Jaycee horn was a good pickup for Carolina. For all of Sam darnold inconsistency. There is not one at coach. That boost of confidence behind that 23 year old is going to pay us dividends oh, and this next year to come

I'm glad they passed on Fields just something about him seems off slater would of been nice but I believe they must think he's more guard than tackle and there's good tackles left in the second round like Jenkins Liam eckenberg Hudson walker little mayfield cosmi radunz
