Mitigating factors need to be considered in these head high tackle situations. What was he supposed to do in that circumstance? Cleary was falling into the tackle. Definitely a penalty, but yellow card? What a joke this game is becoming! Anyway, Go the Mighty Panthers!!

During selection of Origin, many said Martin is no good. Cleary may be the star tonight but if you appreciate what Liam Martin did tonight, he is by far one of best to walk into Origin.

IMO that was the worst of the lot, the tackler has absolutely zero chance to change their tackling height, the player slips a fraction fo a second so that the head at least 2 feet lower than would have been expecting. Direct contact to the head has occured, but the tackler cannot simply stop their motion to make the intial tackle instantaenously, it's not physically possible. Most of the other sendings off and yelow cards I've agreed with, this one, no chance.

No matter what Vlandys desires, they can't just disappear when this happens. Panthers scored 14 points during that 10 minutes, which pretty much turned the game.

This was a disturbing game to watch. I couldnt enjoy it. Just didnt feel right. Rugby league used to be a game of sportmanship. Not thugmanship like AFL. Nor DramaQueen-manship like soccer. It's a real FOOTBALL contest!!! By taking out a player to the sin bin over an accident. That removed the contest from the sport. It was unbearable to watch. I tried to enjoy. I couldnt. 1. Can the coaches team be allowed to appeal the referee, using video evidence? If they are unsuccesful, the player Will have extra punishment after the game. If the appeal is succesful, the player can be reinstated immediately. 2. Can an automatic penalty be given. AND video referee to review the contact, and within 3 minutes, must decide to sin bin the player or not. Please take out this head injury sin bin nonsense. And officiate the game properly and FAIRLY. We want to see a contest of sportmanship. Don't take the contest away from the game, with ridiculous rules. Head injury protection must be officiated CLEANLY AND FAIRLY. Without taking the contest out of the game.

Ok! KKC2354 you are right, the game as I have noted on some previous Bloggs it is now F***ed big time as unwatchable. If a player is sin-binned for 10 why Can't the coach put a replacement player in for the 10 minutes in this case then everything is back to make it an equal contest. NRL you guys have lost me.
