I only been a fan of hockey for 8 years. I decided to pick the Florida Panthers because at the time they weren’t big in the NHL. I wanted to root for the underdogs or undercats I should say 🤭. Little by little they were getting better every year. Then boom finals 2023, so close but fell short, then back to the finals 2024 💥 Stanley Cup Finals Champions 🏆. I chose right 😁 let’s go Champs let’s go Cats 😎

wish I could say I was a Panthers fan for longer, I always followed hockey casually (mainly just watched the playoffs). I chose the Rangers as my team cause I'm from NY and they had the same colors as the Giants, who I was a big fan of. Always took a liking to the Panthers though because like you, I love the underdogs, and I always have an easy time rooting for a team to win its first championship. Plus I also have been a big Heat fan since 07. I knew that the Bruins had a historic season last year, naturally I was rooting for Florida that series but when I saw them win that, and I saw what my Heat were doing, and I saw that not only was there a lot of overlap among the fanbases but also the Heat and Panthers players were feeding off each other, that solidified it for me, and I chose to become a Panthers fan. Unfortunately people will probably consider me a bandwagon fan but whatever. I might be a newer fan but I'm here to stay. I think I have been inspired to follow hockey a bit more closely as well. I don't understand everything about it but it's an interesting and entertaining sport, and I think I've learned a decent bit just watching these games during this playoff run

Panthers fan and season ticket holder here. That was the most intense game I have ever been to. I must say that the Edmonton fans were very gracious in defeat. This one was as close as it gets. I do believe that winning the Stanley Cup is the toughest trophy to win. All the teams in the respective conference finals are good enough to win the Cup. It also takes two months of hockey to complete the journey. Edmonton should hold their heads high and celebrate a great season.

for sure. They got to 100k subs, their channel kind of exploded during this run it seemed like. 4th team in the NHL to hit 100k subs on YT. Not bad for a bunch of fairweather, late-arriving, bandwagon fans 😉. The first Panthers video I saw was a troll job on the Bruins where the lady took a Panthers fan and a Bruins fan and pitted them against one another in a trivia contest. Except it was entirely rigged against the Boston fans. Once I saw that I knew I had to subscribe 🤣

Just incredible, I'm so proud of you guys. The mental fortitude you guys needed to have after blowing a 3-0 series lead and the way in which you lost those games, to then forget all of that, go out and play a good game of hockey. The Panthers didn't win game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final series, Edmonton lost the game with some help. There's a difference. In 5 of the 7 games of the series Edmonton proved to be the better team. So why did Edmonton lose this game and the series? Honestly, did the Oiler team look like the same team that scored 18 goals against the Panthers in the last 3 games? Of course not. Edmonton's rookie coach decided to change the game plan for the 7th game. Why should be the question. To be fair, the Edmonton coach had absolutely no pressure having gone down 3-0 in games because no one expected Edmonton to come back and win the series. After all it was only done once and that was 82 years ago. So in games 4 to 6 the team played a wide open relaxed game taking chances to pop in plenty of goals. They did that, winning 8-1, 5-3 & 5-1. They discovered Bob's weak spot... Blocker glove high side. 18 Pucks in the net. But game 7 all the pressure was on Edmonton and their coach was crushed by this pressure, or was he incentivized? He changed the style of game Edmonton would play tonite. He told his team to tighten up, not take any chances and play a safe conservative game. He wanted his team to tip toe to win the Stanley Cup. So what got the team to play a seventh game was all of a sudden not a good game plan. This coach even held back McDavid in game 7 having him play a certain type of game. McDavid didn't play like he played in games 4&5, like a man possessed. You could hardly notice if McDavid in game six. McDavid had a good game but nothing more than that in game 6 So everyone tonight on the Oiler team were waiting the whole game through for that break....that never came from someone on the team.....which never happened. Did Florida change it's game plan??? NO. They just scored first and held the lead and when scored on again, scored again and held the lead. This Oiler team have a very offensively powerful team. They could have come back in the last minute of the game to tie it up at 2-2. Then take the game into overtime But the Edmonton coach was going to make sure that couldn't happen since he called the shots. This coach would make a coaching blunder no coach would ever do in a championship game where your team is behind by one goal going into the last minute of the game. The normal strategy here is to pull your goaltender for a 6th man to help launch a last minute attack. You would only do this when you have full control of the puck in enemy territory and set up your players to launch a barrage. Usually you force a faceoff in the enemy zone and go from there. It make take 10-15 seconds to ensure your team has control of the puck in enemy territory but that gives you control to launch a last ditch offensive attack till the end of the game. What did this coach do for Edmonton??? The team never established control of the puck in enemy territory, the coach pulled the goaltender, nonetheless and then the team got boxed into their own defensive zone by 2 Panther forwards who were taking pot shots at the empty net while the last valuable seconds of the game ticked by till there was no time left in the game. This ensured that the Edmonton power fowards would never have a chance to even threaten the Florida net with even one shot. Bad coaching or something more, I let you decide and maybe you to can join dots. Since gambling entered pro sports you have to wonder if the games are completely legitimate.

Madison Avenue in New York cut that down to one minute & the explanation was replaced with fluff, things having nothing to do with the product or service. Twitter, X & TIC TOC has reduced this to a few words TEACHING the public not to care about anything. This way, our rights and freedoms can be taken away from us in front of our faces.
