Impressive layouts for joints makes for a very solid chair. Excellent workmanship.

The first set I did entirely on the Pantorouter. I had trouble lining up double tenons in a housing, so I tried this. Thanks! It is a very strong joint.

Why would you even need the Festool with having the Panatorouter to do it all. Im confused

Good question! The full tenon, my preferred method with the PantoRouter, takes more material than loose tenons (Domino). And making a housed M&T at an angle with the Pantorouter, while not impossible, can be a bit challenging to get everything to line up just so on angled chair legs. Using the hybrid PantoRouter/Domino combination makes that a little easier, but not necessarily better. (See my playlist on building the Gamble Inspired Dining Chairs, done entirely with PantoRouter.)

Nice use of the PantoRouter and beautiful chairs! Watch for a new template system that will replicate any size mortise, including all of the Domino sizes from 5mm to 14mm in exactly the width you wish. Should be out by the end of Sept 2020 is all goes well.

Thanks, Mac! I’ve actually put together a template making jig, but I’m sure this new one is much better than mine! Haven’t gotten around to posting the video on that yet. Very much looking forward to seeing it! Make my model obsolete!

the panto router is a great tool. But the people continue to discriminate against those they don't like. They return my order unfilled and give no reason. This has happened more than once its too bad the company is run by jerks who get away with this!

I’m sorry you have a soured relationship with customer service you are dealing with. I really can’t help you there. I’ve never had anything but great service with the Pantorouter folks, even going well above my expectations. Perhaps start over with a fresh positive attitude? As always, thanks for watching!
