Regarding armor, even against tier X, if you are at least semi-hulldown or using some gun depression, if you point your gun up (not completely, but about 60%), your upper turret plate becomes about 70° degrees or more, so many shells will straight up ricochet. Especially againist tier Xs, who think they can easily cut through and loose focus... Happened to me countless times. Againist HEAT... if you are using all of your gun depression AND you lift your turret to about 0°, then your upper turret plate is under around 70° angle = autoricochet for AP/APCR shells. at this angle againist HEAT you get around 350mm effective, if you point higher, then it is impervious. But keep in mind that your turret also has lower-plate, which only around 230mm, +-. so it is a hit or miss... Yet when reversing behind cover/down the hill you peeked from, you will quickly hide turret lower plate. TLDR; when reversing down a hill you peeked from, point your gun upwards (about 60%), it can substantially increase your opponents chance to pen your turret :)

Tiger 2 is so painful to use my goodness. Comparing it to the t32 hull down both using Cali and enhanced armor t32 has better hull and much better turret armor frontal frontally nearly being impenetrable thanks to the invention called a gun mantlet stupid slow tiger 2. Ever heard of spaced armor tiger 2? Both the hull and turret have better effective armor at 313 on the hull and up to 306 on the mantlet that makes it impossible for a tiger to cut through it. Meanwhile I can just pen your flat turret all day long
