Creators of the show - was stating not a long time ago - YES, IT WAS A ACTUAL CLIFFHANGER ENDING. (In some anime-related media of USA... Crunchyroll maybe? Dunno.) Problem is simple - "Author Rights" or Licence. Right now - it IS not belong to creators, but it have publishers. So, simply and shortly - same story with Konami or "EA Games".

No, it was intentional. Believe me I'm a long time fan of PSG and I can tell you both Masumoto Kazuya and Hiroyuki Imaishi have stated that they would definitely make season 2 one day if there was proof that there is enough market and people for it. Also there is the whole problem that Gainax are in a shitty financial situation still and if studio Trigger were to make it (actually preferrable if you ask me given the quality of things like Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia's animation) they would have to somehow get the license from Gainax which is easier said than done.

Actually, the problem with a second season, besides the sales of the first one, is that most of the staff that worked on PSG isn't working for Gainax anymore. And it is doubtful that Gainax would sell the rights to Studio Trigger, where these people went.(and doubtful they'd want to buy it anyways)

The first time I watched this show I was so drunk I woke up the next morning in a Burger King drive threw bush. When I finally made it home after calling my friends I found out I had bought six episodes of this show on my Xbox video account. Watched them and was instanly amazed at how a group of foul mouthed, underage, strippers who use there lingerie for weapons was such an awesome show somehow.

I normally don't care much for sex-based humor. Not because I'm a prude, but because either they just keep going for the lowest-hanging fruit or the execution's off and it just comes off as half-assed. [Oh look, a high school girl trips over and exposes her panties..... SNORE, and ew. A clumsy guy just happens to have boob-magnets for hands...... PLEASE.]. Not here, though, any and every joke is made, and the creators pour their heart and soul into making it the funniest and raunchiest thing they can possibly make. I just adore that kind of dedication, especially with something that looks like Powerpuff Girls Gone Wild. It definitely helps that it's the same guys who made Gurren Lagann a.k.a. the best anime ever. Lesson to take away: if you're gonna do something, do it well and don't be ashamed of it. Don't just make a show that happens to be about sex. Make it a show whose mighty bulge PIERCES THE HEAVENS!!!
