Where I lived when A.W. was first shown on TV, they were so desperate to censor they used black insulation tape. They did _not_ want Jenny's unclad form traumatising the masses in the days where the film was "filmed" for TV broadcast. Somebody went thru the actual film frame by frame, covering up the offending bits by sticking black tape over it. Of course, watching it at home on TV, you saw the tape jump all over the place as the movie played. And you could see the perforated ends of each bit of tape where the dispenser cut it. Appallingly sad and pathetic censorship.

I saw it at a downtown theater as a young man when it first came out. Back then they still had "double features". And the second feature was "Rooster Cogburn". Suffice to say, I enjoyed "Logan's Run" much more.

I saw this in the theater as a young boy and I think I remember seeing Jenny nude in it. Instant crush. I sure remember thinking about it later 😏 Anyway, back in the 70's it wasn't rare to see a boob in a PG rated movie. R ratings were more for language and violence. An occasional boob was ok.

I remember reading the book before the movie ever came out. It was a huge like two inch thick paperback. It was a fantastic story. Then the movie came out, I went to get the book well over a decade later and the book was a small hundred page like thing that I scanned realizing it wasn't the original... What a loss. The movie was less than stellar particularly compared to the original book.

They reused the costumes for the Logan's Run TV series, and it wasn't so much the case of the female leg shots, but the fact that their sides were fully exposed, which means you're waiting for a good profile shot since the ladies could never wear a bra.
