This is it. All the other Panzer IV channels can go home. This series will never be topped. Great questions with even better answers. It's the details. Now I know there's a little step to help the bow gunner get in and out. A result of feedback from testing, I'd guess. Or maybe they thought of it from the design phase. Might seem like an odd thing to focus on, but I love knowing what every little bit is there for.

A ‘Panzer Rick’ t-shirt needs to happen! (I noticed the pickle rick shirt at around 11:40 ish). Unfortunately there’s probably copyright issues if you guys made and sold these. But if you do make them, that would be so awesome and hilarious. Maybe Rick in a black uniform, with a headset, upper body sticking out of the commander’s hatch of a panzer 4, and the entire tank is that green pickle texture. If this happens I want credit for the idea haha!

Where in the H**l do you find an original gunner's sight? For either the main gun or the bow gun? Holy smokes.... That's absolutely wild he was able to actually source original ones that are obviously serviceable. Original radio gear??? Good God... Don't want to even venture a guess what any of that cost. And as typically German(i.e. over complicated) as the traverse system is, it's actually really neat since it does keep things very simple for the gunner. No farting around with separate controls for either drive. Man, this is really interesting. Getting deep into the minutiae you don't really get anywhere else. Fascinating as all get out. Maybe a little nuts too, but that's ok because you're just not going to find anything like it elsewhere. Just awesome stuff.

Thankyou for the kind words. We take pride in bringing in depth footage no one else does, its hard work. One day of filming, weeks and weeks of editing in our own time. As for where Randy sources equipment, in our last episode in 2 weeks we discuss restoration and how he finds parts. Stay tuned.

Something to add here. It seems there is not much room to operate, but times were harder back then! In the USA a lot of men were rejected as unfit or undersized [4F] because of malnutrition during the Great Depression when they were growing up. It was the same in Europe! Finding Men that would fit in these Tanks wasn't as difficult as it seems now!

Funny seeing a big fat guy extracting himself out of the hatch. Contemporaries were a lot smaller, slimmer, fitter and motivated, so: no problem at all
