By sheer chance, I did the same thing, and incredibly not long after it was released. Since then it has utterly ruined me lol. I've practically been listening to it on repeat since I discovered it. It pains me to think we have to come across a band like this by accident. This album and band deserves so much more exposure...

Darn, mixing on this album is absolutely perfect, it's nice to actually hear the bass guitar in metal music once in a while. Superb album, reminds me a bit of Deathspell Omega.

@@maxwellsdem0n Well, when I wrote the comment I definitely had in mind Enemy of Man by Kriegsmaschine rather than their last album. It's a bit harder for me to name the exact Deathspell Omega influences I hear, but it's definitely their stuff from 2010 onwards, so have a go with Paracletus or even the Drought EP. Also, if you want something fresh, yet bleak, maybe you could try the latest albums by Proscription or Ulcerate, even though they are more on the Death Metal side.

I can't tell you how much it pains me this video has less than a million views. This is easily the best metal album of 2020 in my opinion, maybe even the decade - I dont give a fck im not qualified to pass judgement, its just my opinion. It's a fcking masterpiece. The lyrics, the drums, the vocals, the mixing. From start to finish its sublime.. It's rare that an album has this kind of impact on me. I feel like I can't even listen to anything else now... everything else just feels unfinished, inferior... - Eisenwald press some more vinyl of chapter 2 please! Take my money!!

it is such a SHAME that covid has restricted this band from taking over the world of metal. their music is better enjoyed when played super loud so you can FEEL it properly. The production value on this album has nothing to be jealous of bands way, way bigger (and richer) Can't really wait to hear what they'll release in a few days time and hope this pandemic shit is behind us and panzefaust opening for Gojira
