Remember to use your thermals often, and always find some defilade when you're up against ATGMs. I didn't have any problems with the enemy tanks during this mission; it was the soldier with the missile that got me every time. I ended up not following the prescribed route and using valleys and trees for concealment All that being said you've done much better with the M60 than I have

Some people might have already said this, BUT: when your commander gives a callout for an enemy tank You can press spacebar and the TC will take the control of the gun and aim it directly to the enemy tank

I don’t think I should be telling this to a literal tank commander, but when the radio says “target, cease fire!“ it means the enemy vehicle is destroyed, and when they say “target, re-engage!” It means the tank needs a few more shots to destroy

Yeah but the game doesn't always get it right. It seems to be based on the damage caused by the initial shot. So if the target is on fire, it can sometimes call "re-engage" followed by "ceasefire"

I noticed ya haven't been using the thermal optics to spot enemies that much, is there a reason for not using them or just don't want to?

It's all down to preference really. Thermals are good for scanning but you'll want to aim using day sight in the day usually. Also thermals in the game aren't quite right in that vegetation can obstruct far more than they should

It can. But shooting on the move is always taught as a quick reaction, not an ideal situation. Sure, it's accurate but why take the chance if you can get into a good position and hit the enemy first, right?

@@oinossolo6219 Typically the reverse is true. A stationary tank will have a better chance of hitting the target, stationary or moving. Moving tanks still have to contend with sudden bumps, direction changes, etc. even with modern computers assisting.
