Least injury prone, highest IQ I've seen from other players in the draft, and sensational footwork. No bulk up necessary. Also, he's coming straight from one of the best college BB programs in the country. Idk how people aren't wanting him #1🤔
@hanschristiantumarao99312 жыл бұрын
because they fell in love with the Chet Holmgreen hype which I honestly do not understand. Sure he's a top lottery pick but I don't think his play transitions well to the NBA considering he's a 7ft center with less than 200 pounds. I could imagine him being bullied under by the likes of Embiid, Jokic, Kat, Ayton, and heck even Gobert

I just checked out Smith, Holmgren and Banchero for the first time and I agree. Smith theoretically might have more potential but I think bball iq is such an underrated quality. Banchero looks like he has high iq and is a natural scorer and all around player whereas Smith has elite athleticism but literally mostly just shoots 3s according to his stats, so he might just be a high level 3+D guy in the nba and not a superstar. Holmgren is interesting but I’m unsure about his strength or athleticism in the pros. Also for perspective, I remember last year the Raptors got criticized heavy for taking Barnes at 4 over Suggs because most draft media said Barnes wasn’t in the same tier of top prospects like Suggs. Of course in hindsight Barnes was ROTY and no ones questioning the Raptors taking Barnes over Suggs at all. So I think teams gotta trust their scouting and not draft consensus. If Orlando or OKC takes Banchero I’d respect it. To me he looks like the most likely to be an all star

Pretty good comp, but Banchero is a better overall playmaker and seems to have a more intuitive understanding of the game. His athleticism will translate to the next level even if not as elite as someone like Blake was. He's very mobile and active given his size and bulk. Really intriguing.

This guy does not have a play strength issue that most guys (Jabari and especially chet) would have coming into the league. Nah, he’s either going 1st overall or 2nd. It will be him and Chet holmgren who go 1 and 2. Jabari smith has a small chance of being 1 or 2, but only if OKC or Orlando really likes him, and thinks he will be a much better fit with the team then the other two. Chet and Paolo are both better then Jabari by a slim margin, but they are definitely better then Jabari, only if Orlando or OKC think that Jabari’s play style will fit in better with the team will they pick him, which I don’t see happening…. You never know… Tbh as an OKC fan, I hope this kid goes 1st overall, and we get chet, I like chet better, and hopefully him being “too small for his frame”-chet that is, causes Orlando to take paolo first overall, so we get chet who I think is better overall right now then paolo, and has more upside too…. He's bigger and I think a better shooter, playmaker, and ball handler but playstyle very similar. If he wants to ascend past a Julius Randle and be a legit #1 on a championship team, he needs to be decisive and aggressive and attack the rim like Lebron and take on the challenge to be a good defensive player and rim protector. If he improves his defense and becomes a rim protector (he has the size and athleticism to do it), they can play him at the 5 and being more aggressive can up his ppg to 25+ with 7 to 8 free throws a game.
