My heart was broken by a man who once said that I make him want to be a better man. I moved far away, but I miss him every day. Tonight it's a warm late September evening, I'm sitting on my balcony with a glass of wine, a good book, surrounded by my beloved pets and I'm listening to Paolo. Life is good, in a very strange way. I am still breathing, I still laugh from time to time, I still enjoy sunsets. I am alive. But my mind is still with him, I can hear his voice, and remember the way he smelled. I so wish he could have been a better man...

Totally agree, loved his live gig at the O2, best thousands I ever spent to fly all the way from Asia to catch him off his face lol. He makes me cry! Such finesse.

It's likely his own choice to do what he's doing.. Tickets for his last appearance in Paisley were balloted.. could sell out the hydro with no problem at all. Can only hope he's happy as he is and then we can look forward to more music and see what he does with his talents down the line.

Yes!! You should go listen to Jack Soveretti (dont know if that's spelt correctly!) But his song, written six years ago; written in the scars - found this morning

@@zoedrysdale9615 Thanks Zoe, just listened to the song, and will check out more, the voice is got that similar rasp and is more up tempo, so with this in mind go check out , Paolo's Candy. P.S. I grew up with a lot of Drysdale family back in Bonnyrigg, Scotland, any connection, ?

I was listening a radio while driving a week ago… there was this random song and great voice singing ‘through the echoes’…. I fell in love to that song and that voice… So I shazamed it and here I am only now learning about this guy and his work… what a treasure, can’t believe I was deprived of this music for 10 years… amazing talent… and then just as randomly I found out he will perform in my city in two weeks time!!!! What a treat!!!

Sometimes it's the lyrics, sometimes it's the pure roughness of the voice that send bliss streaking through your ears and directly into your heart. He has both!! Lovely....simply lovely.

I adore this song. My love wakes me up with this paying from the tv ♥️ he’s so shy but so loving and speaks to me with music. He loves Paolo, they went to the same school and my guy worked in Paolo’s parents’ restaurant. This song makes me cry because it is so beautiful. Loving You is another favourite of mine ♥️ I want this to be my first dance song but I think my guy is planning on singing it to me at our wedding! 🥲🥲🥲🥲
