Well I tried to follow the suggestion below and checked out Bruno Hurtado. I got suggestions for some VERY strange videos that I have't watched yet. No 7-string viola da gamba though

La prise de son étant exécrable, on ne peut apprécier l'oeuvre. Nous n'avons aucune idée de l'interprétation originale ou voulue par le compositeur, Paolo Pandolfo profite de cette liberté. Cette prise de liberté est totale concernant la Chaconne... Personnellement, pour la Chaconne par exemple, je préfére la version de Bruno Hurtado (KZbin).
