Not sure how one can say that these lyrics do not seem deep or connected. I can see him going to a darker place to write this. Kelly and Jacoby have had some rough patches throughout their marriage/relationship and I can see this tying into that. I'm not saying this is how he currently feels (they seem to be such a happy, beautiful family now) , but he may have felt this way in the past, and went there to write this song and if it's not about his personal struggles, we know he channeled a friends feelings for it...he never writes just to write, it always comes from a place in his heart and mind! I really love the sound, the meaning, and the lyrics! They never disappoint me at all. This band has helped me through life for the past 15 years and always will! They have proven that! I cannot wait to go to another show in January and for the album to come out! :) I am one proud Papa Roach fan!

Don't get me wrong. I really liked this song, just like the past two. But my complain here, as to why I don't think this album will be as good as the past albums, is that the lyrics really don't seem to fit. They don't sound deep or even catchy. Jacoby sings as good as always, but the I fear the lyrics won't be as good as expected. The bar was too high. I hope I'm wrong. Either way, always great to get some new PR.

RedVSBlueIsCewl I meant deep in the sense that maybe they're too literal. Like the name of the song is "broken as me", so I know he's gonna talk about being broken. Pretty literal. Getting Away With Murder had this whole concept, it wasn't literally about murdering. You know? Either way, now that I've heard the full album I must say I did ended up liking it a lot more than what I thought I would. Like I said, I've always been a big fan of PR, I never intended to bash them for no reason. I still think my all time favorite album will be Getting Away With Murder, but F.E.A.R. turned out to be pretty great too. Devil and Hope For The Hopeless are particularly good.
