I feel for you, last may I did the same for "shinewalker" she used to go to domefest and was always at sunshine daydream in Terra Alta it's nice to see that someone else got to do that for their friend. It felt like a bad dream at her funeral and the only redeeming thing I could think to do to make it better was to change the music from weird funeral music to grateful dead. The music really set the tone for celebrating her life instead of mourning. RIP Amanda Mcdonald 😢I miss and love you daily and wish I was in the right mind to think to play you some papadosio too♥

I have a friend who loves ‘dosio but feels the exact same way. He feels beauty in some songs and darkness in others, but that’s music for ya! Good music can make people feel different things and there’s nothing wrong with feelings of sadness, emptiness, loneliness, etc… All part of the human experience and it’s perfectly normal and awesome to feel that way from music.
