With Lyman gone let’s take the opportunity to appreciate the legends of pinball who are still here. Bowen, thank you for your immeasurable contributions to pinball. ❤️

Whenever Bowen explains a game to this level it makes me appreciate the game in a new way; sometimes a game never on my list gets added to track down for the collection. I really appreciate your knowledge, skill and generosity making these Bowen, and of course huge thanks to Marc for such a fine production. -Mitch

Thanks for highlighting the shots. That helps immensely, especially if the pin is new to me. More often than not, KZbinrs just point with their finger (several feet away) and say "shoot this"...and I have no idea what 'this' is, so highlighting makes all the difference.

Knew I liked the game before Bowen's tutorial. Bought it after his tutorial... JP Pro, BSD, Corvette, Walking Dead, Demo Man, Metallica, Iron Man.... his tutorials are dangerous to my wallet. Keep making more, please!!!

I have a JP Premium and after two months of owning it all I can say is that the outlanes are brutal. Make your shots because if you don't it's headed for an outlane/inlane. Because the top of the slingshots is significantly higher than the post between the inlane and outlane you are almost assured to drain in the outlane. I lowered the upper post from the middle to the lower adjustment hole and only changed my outlane drain from 90% to 80%. Still an awesome game if you hit your shots. Also, if your action button is lit when you're in a paddock you can push it to slow the dinosaur down a bit. I always use it on the T-REX. And when the ball is trapped via inlane solenoid during a paddock explanation you can drop the solenoid instantly by holding both flippers simultaneously. I hit some shots better when the ball is moving rather going from a ball held on a flipper. By holding both flippers as soon as you go up the right ramp the solenoid is down before the ball reaches it and you can just keep the flow going.
@CaptainBZarre2 жыл бұрын
On the topic of outlanes, make sure to have Escape lit whenever possible. You qualify the target that lights it by rolling into the bumpers from the upper loop, and you have to shoot the target under a time limit.

Nobody does better tutorials! I learn so much from you. I own the pro and it is tricky to know the rules. This is so helpful. Also, JP is brutally hard. The shots are tight and hard. This game will test you.

I've owned a Premium for longer than I should admit (based on my high score), and finally decided to learn some of the deeper rules. This is fantastic, thank you! You're an incredible player. I used to think the outlanes on this game are brutal, but that's only true if you brick shots. Elwin's designed a game that rewards precision.

Great playthrough & explanation, as always! Have one on backorder, can't wait. Surprised you never staged the upper flipper: it makes it much easier to make the O shot when trapped up. I would love to see a part 2 where you get to all the deeper modes.

Excellent! Two questions, is there a sensitivity to the till because it seems like the machine I play in the pinball arcade I frequent, I trigger that tilt warning with what I feel slight nudging. And do you have any tips to nudging that you can get away with and types of nudging you can't? Secondly, on the missiles, does that Target change you have to hit? Thank you great video
@caraLi0n Жыл бұрын
Tilt mechanism is a plumb line hanging down through a ring so it can swing about and hopefully not make contact. It can be adjusted ‘tightened’ so the widest part of the weight is in the ring so there’s less room to swing. That sucks if it’s a tight tilt in public setting imo
