Papaw's Big Tree

On July 31, 2022 a huge tree fell on my backyard. It crushed two out buildings, tore down a brick wall, and fell into my pool with a new vinyl liner. The video show the removal of the tree from my property on August 6 and removal of the rest of the tree on August 25. My 18 month old great grandson loves action / work videos.

What a mess, shows what happens when you have monster trees so close to homes, right next door another big tree..

What kind (species) of tree was it?

Wow Erik! I have and 18 month great grandson that loves trucks, cranes, etc. I did not know that anyone outside my family would watch this, but you are very welcome. It was a water oak tree. I will not miss those tiny leaves in my pool and those other limbs that are always falling in your yard. The tree was the largest in my neighborhood and I am still recovering.
