So happy to see people Around the world still appreciate Leroy Anderson. I think he's partially responsible for my love of music of all kinds. His album introduced me to orchestral music. He and Leonard Bernstein taught my generation to be adventurous about music. Also I have been lucky to have access to good public libraries From which I could take Albums and then C d's So that I could sample different kinds of music at no cost. We need to put music and art back in the schools, Even if it's only a teacher playing an album for the students or giving them time to look at pictures and draw.

Hola a todos. Que bueno cuando toda una orquesta toca sus instrumentos de forma distendida y no con la rigidez que siempre tienen los conciertos ! Fíjense que hay sonrisas en sus caras mientras tocan. Es una forma de llegar a más público con la música clásica sin deformarla ni faltarle el respeto. Me gustó. Leroy Anderson (29 de junio 1908 - 18 de mayo 1975) fue un compositor de varias orquestas de su país, Estados Unidos. Una de sus obras es La Máquina interpretada por Jerry Lewis, en Lío en los grandes almacenes. Recuerdo haber escuchado dos o tres piezas de el sencillas y divertidas en los anos 70.

Lo vi de Japón. Cada nota tocada por la orquesta era clara y hermosa, y sentí amor. Fue divertido porque complementaba el sonido de usar papel de lija. El sonido del papel de lija sonaba como pasos hacia el futuro. fue muy divertido. Muchas gracias.
