What is ASMR?
ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a phenomenon that encompasses both psychological and physiological experiences. It typically manifests as feelings of calm, pleasure, and drowsiness, accompanied by a tingling sensation on the scalp, neck, and back of the spine. People often experience ASMR when they feel gentle touches, see smiling faces and delicate hand movements, or hear triggering sounds such as soft whispers, the crinkling of paper, fingers rubbing together, or quiet lip-smacking.
