This is exactly what everyone needs ❤ You are so right, too many options kills creativity at times. We watch videos and tend to think we need some magical glue, or a Brand name stamp and sticker to make a junk journal. What a pleasant reminder that they are ‘JUNK Journals’ 😊 How refreshing

SO MUCH FUN!! Love the Junk Drawer Dives! I’m working through my junk box each week and loving all the fun stuff. And I’ve noticed that I have even more creativity in my more formal journal projects because ‘diving into the drawer’ is influencing how I think about using all the spare bits. Hi Natasha! I LOVE this type of video. I dig watching you create. I like having a pile of mess and turning it into a lovely journal. So much fun. And definitely inspiring. I think bc it’s very relatable. Everyone who journals or scrapbooks has bits of paper, images, stickers, cloth/ribbon, etc and contemplates what to do with them. Yesterday was a horrible day as I woke up to a flood in my kitchen from my overhead bathroom. This morning it has been a joy to start my day with your soothing tones and junk-drawer creativity. I even salvaged some pretty wet bun/muffin/cupcake cases from my flooded kitchen and am drying them out thinking "what would Natasha do with these?"🤔 Thank-you for brightening my day 🙏

This speaks to my ADHD BRAIN . Limited items, size, materials, and time. No overthinking, no overwhelming choices. I make Commonplace books and add a number of quotations to get people started. I can’t personally use a junk journal for journaling- I use my art journal instead. I’m a cognitive mess, but can’t give up the high I get from making junk journal type books. This is just what I needed. BRAVA!

Yes, I was very inspired. Recently, my motto is use what you have. I agree it promotes creativity. I have cut back tremendously on purchases. Problem is people know I love junk journals and so they give me things like their cake mix box, cereal bag liners, wallpaper, etc. Thank you so much for sharing this project. I loved it.
