Also of note: one particular e-note company that begins with a "B" has a terrible reputation for customer support, with many users complaining on reddit about broken screens and the user herself being blamed by the company for the faulty device. Supernote, in contrast, always does its best to ensure that users enjoy free, courteous, and professional advice. The Ratta people are very accommodating and responsive; they never blame the users of their devices or charge them for problems that occur. And that's on top of having a user-replaceable battery - a HUGE plus!!🤩

I really wished they would use horizonal and vertical measurements for these devices. They are paper replacements, not computer screen replacements. The A5X2 should really be called the B5X2 from what I can tell. 10.3" and 10.7" means not a lot to me.

@VladimirKostek That video is interesting, but if you ever do it again. Overlay the device with a letter-sized piece of paper, an A5-sized, an A4-sized, and a B5-sized (composition book is roughly that). That would really ground the comparison in reality.

Hello there! I’m very tempted by this. The thing holding me back and tempting me towards Boox is the ability to use Readwise. I know you can now side load on Supernote. Have you tried using the app, and if so, could you comment on performance?

7:35 - Paperclip A while ago I requested if we could choose to display or not to display the 'paperclip icon' in links, mainly because I often wish to add a link to a word within a block of text I had already written, there maybe good reason why this hasn't been implemented or can not be... but I still want it all the same. :)

If you do a standard note you could add a layer where you mask the clips in white. A bit of a stretch but I might give it a shot for aesthetics purely lol

@@VladimirKostek The issue is with adding a link to a word *within an existing block of text,* as the paperclip being added to the end of the word then over laps the following word. Not an issue when adding a link to a stand-alone word, but certainly to a word within an existing block of text.

Mine is coming in a week or two. That upgradability is a massive draw to me. I tend to hold onto tech until it's unusable. Well ... assuming Ratta produces a motherboard upgrade, I can see myself using this for a decade or longer. (Just need to avoid the draw of 'new and shiny' that is surely around the bend.)

I am into geometry and symbolic math and like the math module of MS OneNote on the Surface Pro. I was wondering if Supernote has one to suggest that would work on the Manta. Always great content! The E-team is great also :) In under 2 years I have gone from rm2, note air 3c, go 10,3 and the rmpp. Looking for the best possible for my work. I like the thought of ceramic pen and the writing feel I hear about. What I need for work is a calendar that syncs my meetings, a good writing feel and a easy way to seperate and find my notes. Hopefully this is it. Expensive hobble, but I want the best :) Thanks for your great content!

I will try to do this with my limited but growing artistic ability or find.a template as you suggested. Your comparison with multiple desktops for many use cases is so fitting. I prefer plastic nib pens because believe it over not I have lost 6 pens since I got my Supernote (in past 3 months). So cheap $8 to $30 pens work better for me.
