This is a dream. How much I would like this game in HD on Switch (technically I would like PM64, TTYD and SPM in a trilogy package like 3D-All Stars, but if they did even just Paper Mario 64, that would already be something, as it's my second favorite PM, according to only to TTYD).

GenesisGems it’s personal preference, the project creator and a lot of others actually enjoy the new look, regardless he said he would make a version without it but that will take time due to having to clean up every sprite, he said he won’t start working on that until the whole project is done, if we are lucky maybe he will save two copies of the sprite during production, one with and one without, so it can help speed him up in the future

Honestly, everything about this is promising. My only gripe is that please make the Star Spirits look more like their Paper Mario designs than their Mario Party 5/Card designs. They just seem kinda out of place for me.

These are not his Textures, Most have been used from various other people or teams such as my own, Mollymutts, Intelligent System's: Color Splash, and Various Coustom Sprites from Spriters Resource. This is why many of the sprites seem a bit too colorful, and some are to darkened regarding esspecially bowsers outlines. On the other hand the white outline being added easily to these existing creative works through the use 30 seconds Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator. My team made some of the sprites personally, yet ours team was using implementing these textures within the open-source Dolphin Emulator, which has far better lighting emulation. This Emulator uses the Virtual Console version of Paper Mario that release on the Nintendo Wii. Our team, various other artists, and myself included just wanted a bit of credit for the Sprite work and textures that we worked on. The Project that has been posted through the above video and various others from this person was in no shape or for associated with our Dolphin Project. We only found out about ('His, or Her, etc' Project) though our Art Direction Consultants that have helped all our team members to have our sprites and textures stay consistent. Now, personally, we are glad they're being put to good use, yet we were doing the exact same project in Dolphin as I started. ..we could be finished if the guy that posted this video would reply to any of our messages. There are varuios custom sprites that look beautiful like Bow, the Yoshi's, ground, signs, that are stunning that we have on our computers that are just collecting dust for the time being. Hence, it is with great sadness that the PM64Remaster team hault all work on this Retexture. Until this situation is worked out, the Paper Mario 64 Dolphin Remaster Project is on hold. This is a team decision as well as a personal one. I've had two fantastic artists that have been on the team for three years quit the project due to these videos. Something gotta give, we are a community and need to work together, whilst being more quite untill a full release. Unless, you want the project to be ended by a cease and desist from Nintendo, like Nelk's project went.

@GenesisGems Thank you on behalf of myself, the PM64RemasterTeam: Dolphin Edition, Mollymutt, and Various Artists who's creative works are posted on Spriters resource. That being said over half of us have attempted to reach out with no response from the poster of these videos as of late. This is unfortunate indeed, the silence is baffling, frustrating, and speaks volumes regarding how the poster feels regarding the Arists and teams that worked for free out of the love and kindness out thier hearts to give the Paper Mario Fanbase a Completed High Quality Dolphin Retuture in the Style of Color Splash/The Oragami King. All they wanted was a shootout, a name drop somewhere, you know something. Luckily, many of the Sprites/Original Character redesigns, World Textures, 3d Normals, Hud elements, items, etc are not posted publicly. This was done due to a fear of them being taken down by Nintendo of Japan. Yet, none of us though that this would happen either. It's just frustrating for all of us.

Personally I feel like you are speaking bullshit, I looked around a bit and don’t find any mention of a “PM64 dolphin remaster project” on any site, you claim to have been working on it for 3 years and yet have nothing to show for it as of right now to verify. Only think I found was mollymutt and klasa.Yes the sprites are just ripped off of a sprite resource website but he does give credit to mollymutt,muddy, and klasa at Mario’s house. Sounds more like bellyaching about wanting their name on a project you have no right to. The background texture and floor texture are freshly made, even the new jr troopa sprite, had a whole livestream of him creating the sprites! Also another reason to call bullshit on your claim aside from the other ones, why are you contacting this person??? They aren’t even the original creator just a let’s player lol, that’s how you know you probably ain’t legit, doesn’t even know the difference of who to contact

I love Nintendo, I truly do, but their goddamn tendencies of shutting down fan projects like this makes every one of us anxious about IF it's going to survive... SEGA has been in the business for as long as they have and yet you don't see SEGA going after fan projects to shut them down... hell THEY EVEN HIRED Christian Whitehead, a fan, to make Sonic Mania !
