I never really got too deep within the first two games for me to prefer them over this one. My only real comment is that I prefer accessories over badges and xp because I don't feel like grinding for experience all the time when I pick up a new game just to get more hp and bp.

Well. There isnt EXP. But, Your confetti bag runs out quickly. So battling to get confetti gets you more. Meanwhile. A goomba said he basically "Took a L".

A problem with Colour Splash is that it just gave out too many coins, Roshambo was too much of a quirk and made coins worthless cus you'd hit the coin cap before cards cost more than 10 coins. This game has a durability system so the weapons you buy are less plentiful (not appearing in the overworld) and would probably cost more, paying toads to help in battle and buying time will probably also be costly but helpful
