I love how the remake has more people coming to cheer Mario on, the people of Rogueport, Prince Mush, the crows in Twilight Town, General White, the Excess Express crew, Cortez's Minions and even Dupree. I know a number of people are dumping on the new arrangement of "We're counting on you Mario!/Supportive Voices from afar" but I think it really nails the feeling of everyone you have met rallying to your aid.

The Koopinator, swooper bat, hotdog guy, and Bandy Andy from the Glitz Pit also came in, I liked that. I always thought deep down that the Koopinator had respect for Mario ‘cause of his honorary code, but just didn’t show it.

I would've gone one step further and made it so that King K comes out of the Glitz Pit with the entire audience in tow and he's like "Come on, everybody! Our Champ, the Great Gonzales needs all of your help!" and then they all crowd around the crystal star and all cheer together. That would've made it even better.

I could make a THESIS on the importance of this cutscene and on why/ how everything in this cutscene represents why the first two paper mario games are so beloved and memorable in the first place

This cuteness got a major glow up. I love the shadow hands, I love how the sky goes dark now too, I love how many more characters gather around the stars, and I love how the shadows sirens and the queen react to it. So good.

yeah I can say this is absolutely my favourite moment in the game. like I saw the original version on youtube as a kid but actually experiencing it in the remake with the remixed music (which is my favourite track in the game) and seeing even more people cheering mario on truly made the scene that much stronger.

Very awesome cutscene. The characters are more expressive. We see the citizens of rougeport see the crystal stars, the crystal stars leaving to where mario found them glitzvile the wrestlers cheer before Jolene gives her cheer, the bomb-omb pirates encourage his crew to cheer for mario, more people are at poshley heights besides the bomb-omb family and Pennington, general white was there along with the bomb-ombs that sent mario to the moon. The shadow sirens (i know it's the shadows but i like shadow sirens better) especially beldam and doopliss looks nervous, and the shadow queen looks injured from the chants and peach looks like she broke free from the possession for a bit. Again, it's the best cutscene ever. The music could have been better without the metal, but it's decent

Before playing this game, I knew that they would make this scene from the original even better. But the amount of detail, love, and emotion is scene is just glorious. Seeing more people come together, rooting for Mario when things are looking grim. This shows you that you’ve come this far, and that you made an impact on everyone’s lives for the better. Mix that with this amazing remake of the song, and you got a scene that got me choking up and crying my eyes out. This scene hit me 20 years ago, and it’s hitting me even harder now. Hell, Just seeing it again still hits me in the feels. This moment is why I love Paper Mario, and made me happy that this remake became a thing. Massive props to everyone on this remake. Still a fantastic game throughout.

What I love the most about this moment is, it's _completely_ in line with how the Crystal Stars actually work in the battle system! They give you power from people cheering you on and believing in you, and that's just taken to its logical (and epic) conclusion in the finale!
