As for my guess, I don’t remember that tiny area being that spacious in the original, so they _probably_ did that to take advantage of the extra space? 1:07 + 1:31 As a nitpick, I’m bummed that we don’t get more cutscenes like this, with all of your party members being out. The start/end of chapters seem best for these, as we get to see their reactions to the new town/area individually anyway, ending with their thoughts on the experience. 24:34 In this case, fantastic question. I don’t see a downside to this, at all. 28:11 *!* They somehow managed to make my favorite chapter even better! And most of the improvements come from this! That sound is obviously one of them. 34:25 Another improvement is a visual on who you’re fighting. It helps you formulate a strategy for the match, in case you get a stipulation that goes against how you would normally fight that particular type of opponent. 35:24 It *is* nice! Especially for those who forget early on, or decide later on, to Tattle certain enemies exclusive to this place. Instead of lowering your rank, you can just fight them in an Exhibition match. And as for your comment about this being broken because of Star Points, it *really* is, especially when a _certain_ new fighter comes in after another one… leaves. 41:47 I like it too. Even for those with decent memory, the heat of battle can often make one forget the rules, especially if they like showing off, or try to get themselves out of a bind by breaking a rule that would help a lot. And with battle music like this, it’s easier to lose yourself than in the original. 43:01 + 43:35 I remember Goombella asking, during the Paragoomba Tattle, if a Paragoomba permanently loses their wings if they come off. Well, if they’re like Parakoopas, they grow back after the battle is over.

Mario is Italian, first of all; second, Gonzales is a Spanish surname which then expanded to the rest of the Spanish-speaking world, but has its origins in German, so there's not an Italian thing about that name, Grubba. 40:48 Unless you're playing this game casually, being forced to do very specific battle conditions like these can be annoying, since they are RNG-based, which is annoying for speedrunners and people who just want to get through this chapter. 42:09 We JUST met King K, like, 10 minutes ago; "friends" is a bit of a stretch, Goombella. 56:10 Now THAT is a very interesting question there, Goombella...

3:26 Probably. 24:58 Out of curiosity, what fighting name would you give Mario that matched his Italian roots, *without* being overtly racist? 40:48 I don’t think Intelligent Systems were thinking about speedrunners with this game. Otherwise, they’d allow you to skip cutscenes the first time you saw them, as opposed to after losing a battle. 42:09 I think this accounts for players who Tattle this guy later on, in case they forget to do it early on. 56:10 That is a good question that goes unanswered…

@@Loner098 Nice names. As for your complaint, [Spoilers below, for anybody who is unaware of the plot] Grubba is a bad guy, so this could be a decent clue as to his evilness. Either that or he’s uncultured; “He’s from a European country, and Gonzales is a name from a European country. Fits!”

@@JJ_R Gonzales could be deriving in Spain, which is a European country, so I guess that makes sense. As for the rest of the plot of the game, it largely remains the same as the original, with only a few minor changes.

@@Loner098 The "Plumber of Punishment" would work better as Mario's title than his fighter name imo. I mean, would an E-rated game's audience have any idea what an *executioner* is in the first place? That's dark for a Mario title.

Jolene speaks in a businesslike and fairly indifferent way....as we follow her going along the corridor. For the first time we start it, we get to find this chapter's inviting us to where a lot more like "society" than "wild" which is more like a typical game and those following suspenseful incidents effectively confuse us.

Tis the fan favorite chapter. Myself among them. But at times I wonder. If Flurrie was as big a starlett as she claims, I wonder whether or not she could've had any connections to get us here instead. I always imagined Grubba having the voice of King Dedede from the Kirby anime dub. 7:00 Can't help but notice this flying town doesn't have any railings or safety fences along the edges... 35:24 Yeah and it makes obtaining the myriad of tattles here less tense since refighting these enemies can be a chore in the original.

Extremely well done with this part, and now beginning chapter 3, and making our way to Glitzville, and now having to complete in order to get the Crystal star, and thus the Glitz Pit battles begins. Keep doing amazing.
