I think this is pretty cool. I would fold it in half and put it in a signature. The page behind it in the journal would be peeking through...cool. Great in a grungy journal. And in grunge world perfect is not welcome 😜, only perfectly imperfect 😁. Have a great day.

I saw a lady make "japanese paper cloth". She didn't sew it though....which I think is a nice touch. She got different kinds of papers and for each one she put hand cream on and scrunched each paper into ball, opened it up and scruched it into a ball again...for several minutes each.....it really did feel like cloth but it did take quite a while...the same process was used in making a paper bag look like leather... time consumng but very tactile!

I'm always wanting something to do with my hands while I watch videos. I get restless. Maybe it's a leftover from my previous smoking days. Anyway, I'm thinking that this Japanese method of kneeding paper might be an answer for me, plus give me usable cloth-like paper to use. Craft therapy, I suppose

I've seen this project before and haven't tried it yet, seemed like a lot of work and yep, wasn't sure I liked it either, lol. 🤔 I do love how it looks in the clusters behind the little peeps. 🥰 I think the magazine page could be pretty cool, maybe if you scrunched it up first, then sewed over it, mhm, I might give that a try. I like the texture of the thicker yarn too.😊 I actually love the second piece you showed in the video, looks like it's kinda yellows and blue/grays, you said made with tracing paper as well, only it's much stiffer then the first piece? maybe you added glue to that piece?? 💜💜💜 Made me laugh when you said you're too impatient to watch videos all the way through Christy 😂🤣😂 I get impatient too, so 95% of what I watch, I increase the speed to 2 times, singers are the only ones I watch at normal speed. I swear, if I ever meet someone I chat with on KZbin, I certainly wouldn't recognize them by their voices, lol. 🥴
