Some people are saying that murder or duress can come up as an essay on ocr paper for a level law - isn't it just intoxication, OAPA or non fatal offences, or consent or self defence?

You are right! No idea why they’d say that

Yes- so just be aware that it might say ‘Common assault’ which is assault and battery and it might say OAPA which is ABH and GBH

It could also just be one offence

@@learnlawwithhannah oh my, I might find it hard doing only one offence - so if it was that id just have to talk about just that one offence and the reform that has been proposed, in detail

Do you think I should do the blocking method or blending method. Should I set out all the AO1 then AO2 for problem questions and the same for evaluation but with AO3

I think the easiest for the examiners is to separate AO1 and do it first.

Not much to report as the press can’t say anything due to the re-trial later this year for the attempted murder charge of one the children

Yes- that would be second on my list of predictions. In the AS paper it was Common assault
