The quality shift between 3 and 4 (less static characters, better video quality, more fluid facial expressions) makes me doubt that powerpoint was used at all. Of course, I could be wrong, and perhaps certain scenes -were- animated in powerpoint, but I really couldn't tell the difference.

Huh, just noticed something. If you pause the intro at the right time after Santa Hat and Loaf come onscreen, you are greeted with the image of Mr. Hand standing there, presumably looking towards the three. Santa Hat and Loaf's eyes are crossed out, but it is obvious they are upset. Gold Ingot is still laying on the ground.
