PRX fans have to stop saying shit like "PRX saving stats, PRX just threw, PRX wasn't in peak form". From what I saw, GenG wasn't even in their peak form as well. Their aim was shaky in a lot of the fights. GenG just has superior discipline, game sense, and strats that gets them wins. They don't need "peak form" in every game to dominate. When there's a better team just acknowledge it and move on. PRX might show up later but constantly undermining the performance of other teams is honestly just obnoxious. This is why PRX gets haters. It's the fanbase ruining their reputation.

Not really related to the match, but I guess this is how it is, being a top team. Everyone expects you to win every single game and it’s the end of the world if you lose a game. Somehow I can see this happening to GenG if they got 2-0’d instead, people calling them frauds despite their Masters win, washed, etc, etc. Or probably any other team in VCT for that matter. All those times in interviews when alecks or one of the players get asked for a message for the fans, and they say the usual lines of thanking support, and asking for their continued support. This is the kind of support they’re getting, apparently.

PRX will have a tough time getting to the podium with Gen.G this strong of late. pity they kept throwing and wasted half of '23 and the start of '24, now with Gen.G's rise, if they don't change something fundamentally, eg. +1 new coach, or change coach entirely, they will starting falling..(fast), its sad to watch, as an avid supporter for so long, but getting constantly disappointed with their performance. Gen.G came like a dream. I think their fanbase will just keep growing at the rate they are playing.. and PRX is losing its fans fast.........

Its not the strats or players. PRX are literally trash compared to good teams. Now they might beat TLN tomorrow but no way PRX are beating top seeds from other regions. GenG countered them so hard. They just build up strats and keep repeating them. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. They hardly play default or sell fakes. They just rely on aim and hero plays. Edit : If you see GenG comp on Ascent, they ran pretty basic comp but still managed to outdo PRX. They are literally frauds like I said before.

PRX's play style is entertaining to watch, but they're not winning anything with it. You cannot simply rely on brute force to win a tournament where the mechanical skill is nearly equal across all rosters and your opponents are able to read you easily. They have to mix up their strategy and comp. The only thing that they have is the chemistry between their players, and even that was missing today.

PRX needs to make serious changes, sure they sit on top of APAC and will make it to champs anyway, but they always has a certain ceiling that always get surpassed by teams who just recently developed a winning form like g2, 100t, etc. Until then ain't no way PRX is gonna be winning champs in that form so hopefully they figure that out.
