The hole point of the game is that "Kris NEEDS to rebell against the entity possessing his soul, choosing for him, making him do things he doesn't want to" The other people in the game refer to him without giving him a sex explicitly for that reason: the game reflects this projection of "false neutrality" in the words you read in the text but, I won't be surprised that in chapter 7 or sooner Kris will state himself how oppressing and damaging to his psiche is, not being allowed to BE himself, to choose for himself! I simply cannot respect more than I already do the author of this comic for establishing so Clearly something that I couldn't stop acknowledging since day 1 of playing the games... Even though he didn't make the last step by removing the "they/them" after the chair scene and onwards... You just need to look at how most people depict or dub him in fanwork outside of this comic to see plainly and clearly that he is a boy... There is either Male or Female... There is far more than male or female. Even if we're only considering purely physical anatomy people can be born with ambiguous anatomy, or a combination of male and female anatomy. Some people have an outward appearance that doesn't match their chromosomes (think a person with XY chromosomes but develops female sex characteristics). While most humans fall into male or female, not everyone does. They're not a statistical anomaly either. About 1.7% of the population is intersex, comparable to the amount of people born with red hair. And stepping away from just physical anatomy, many cultures across the world have recognized more than two genders. Even as far back as Mesopotamia it was recognized that not everyone was male or female. It is also recognized by scientific and medical communities that nonbinary people are the gender they say they are and should be supported. No matter which way you cut it, there is more than male or female. Intersex and nonbinary individuals have always existed and will continue to exist

This has been an awesome series so far. In my opinion, Toby Fox could take a LOT of inspiration from this for CH 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 as well the 8 one if he plans a 8th chapter. I am not a fan of Deltarune or Undertale AU stuff but this one here is believeable for me.

Alvin is praying to the angel for forgiveness of sins, but from chapter 2 we now know that whatever Hometown's religion is, they don't believe in sin (or consequently forgiveness).
