Hello Harry I just played this solo yesterday for the first time and lost, but it was a great word deckbuilder game.

Hey Dean! Good to hear from you!!! Hope all is well with you and you are getting some good gaming in. Yeah, I was surprised how well executed this game is, even though I have always heard good things about it.

I’ve tried a variant I saw on BGG where after a certain number of cubes on each fame card the “opponent” gets the card instead in their own separate pile instead of ending the game immediately. You play like this back and forth earning fame cards until they’re all gone. Then you add up value of the fame cards from the ones you earned and then your opponent’s cards and the highest score wins. I think it’s 3 or 4 cubes per card but I may be wrong. Just another fun way to play this mode. Give it a shot!

Sounds like a really interesting variant. I will have to give it a shot. Thanks for watching!

Great video, is what I was looking for. Ahem, can't you flip a card to make it a wild (like in Hardback?) Okay, so you have this pyramid where you grab the lowest card from. Not sure what makes the lowest row cost 5 and the one above cost 6, maybe that cost is on the cards themselves. You can pay for a card irrespective of how many cubes there are on it and they don't increase the cost. So ideally you would grab the card with the most cubes on it. Sounds a bit lame, maybe I'm missing something here. 18:30 how come you are allowed to draw 6 instead of 5?

if this is a coop, shouldn't you be using at least 2 decks? (as for 2 players?)
