I know righhhttt is it just me or was it kind of a creepy clip before I realized because her face looked so pale, and the lighting was cold (?). So it made for an eerie shot; the way that the camera was angled also helped in "the mood"... Or maybe it's just me.

Super-excited to see Gillian Flynn's work being reviewed in this channel!!! Sharp Objects used to be my fave novel by her, but now I think Gone Girl holds up to the test of time a bit more (and is definitely more fun to read). I once wrote an essay about marriage, gender and the parallels between Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House and Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl for my Drama class because I decided that I really liked Gone Girl that much lmao.
