I‘ve loved this song for like three years and I‘m finally processing the lyrics. And I feel like it’s about someone who sees themselves as irredeemably bad but can’t bring themselves to pull the trigger, either/both on a toxic relationship or literally, because they’re afraid of the outcome. „I deserve nothing but forture’s way…I can’t be sure this round will solve it.“ Pretty fucking dark. Gorgeous song and one I‘ll keep coming back to.
